Inside Sales Position/Business Development Coordinator

Manufacturer’s representative and distributor in the circuit board assembly industry, located in Auburn Hills, Mi, is seeking a high level Inside Sales Person/Business Development Coordinator. This person will be responsible to prosecute sales opportunities, close new business, and working closely with an Outside Sales individual to grow territory sales.

The role requires one who can juggle several projects at one time, is TEAM driven and enjoys interacting with others, has strong social, people, and communication skills, accepts pressure and is ok with a structured environment.

Activities include:

  • Qualify and prosecute new opportunities with prospects and current customers to gain commitment towards next action in buying cycle. Obtaining either a yes or no is important.
  • Provide product details and quotations to qualified prospects and customers.
  • Working with our vendors to thoroughly understand the products we sell and requesting their assistance to close new business.
  • Scheduling appointments for outside sales person to visit prospects/customers.
  • Maintain and update specific account and opportunity data in CRM after daily sales call debriefing conversation with Outside Sales person.
  • Administration of capital equipment orders from quote to successful installation to assure customer satisfaction.

    This is not a customer service position, rather a sales position. You must enjoy and be motivated by winning and closing new business as a TEAM. We sell a diverse product line, learning the products is necessary and may be challenging. Product training retention is critical to one’s success. Diligence, persistence, being accommodating and helpful to others are necessities to being successful.

    A Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
